MARKETING TEXTBOOKS ARE INVALID – Why you need to reconsider your personal branding strategy

As many of us shift into the new new normal of relaxed pandemic safety regulations, I’ll be the first to admit that promotion (for personal or company use) and feelings are WEIRD.

There’s no longer a textbook solution to move forward! These are not predictable days, especially for human emotions, which marketing is based on.

For the first time, we have all had our stand-alone experience. The media audiences consumed over the past year, the curation of their social feeds, the people they have been living with in quarantine, and the causes they have emotionally invested in don’t follow the traditional stance of “demographic profile”. It’s not about the age, gender, or income bracket of your dream audience. It’s about their goals, frustrations, and motivations

Uniqueness

As many of us shift into the new new normal of relaxed pandemic safety regulations, I’ll be the first to admit that promotion (for personal or company use) and feelings are WEIRD.

There’s no longer a textbook solution to move forward! The most effective strategy is to go back to the MAIN POINT of personal branding and confidence in yourself: Uniqueness. You already have a uniqueness, simply because there is only one you. Here’s how to make the most of it.

My very first month-long vacation

My biggest strength is being a fixer, a coach, and to do it with a determination to see it through to the end.

Appearance: HSE Feature with Personal Branding Coach, Khayra Bundakji - Business Miracles

Things I didn’t mention by numbers in the podcast (I wasn’t ready).

I started giving personal branding consultations in Sep 2018. It left me empty because I was charging 200sr/hr AND there was no way for me implement sustainable habits in my clients.

Now I’ve gone into my own business full time (since January 2020), not for the entrepreneur trend, but because I recognize my highly sensitive nature needs at the beginning & end of the day. I need time to reflect and enter the day, and time to wind down my nerves and reflect at night. I’m at 100% capacity in my practice, my lowest sales month was 2,300sr (after prepping to live in savings for 8 months!) and my highest was 22,500sr.
