About “Getting Out There in a Big Way” & 100% Visibility
When you search “Personal Branding Services”, you’re met with design agencies promising a polished visual representation of who you are, copywriters promising a specific tone on your website, and motivational speakers promising that when you know who you’re talking to, you can get out there in a big way and create a community.
I used to offer those same services, but found that my clients were already more than capable of that. I tend to attract clients who are excellence-seekers and course-junkies who go for certificate after certificate. The missing piece that I truly help with is getting them out of overthinking and overdoing, so they can get into compassionately connecting with audiences and reality.
“Getting Out There in a Big Way”
Tanween 2021 was set up for me to do what all those motivational speakers told me to do: Get Out There in a Big Way. A 4-year annual conference organized by Aramco’s Ithra Culture Center, it was set to be a business card networking extravaganza, putting me in front of a ton of people I wouldn’t have met otherwise.
Reality Hits
Reality, thankfully, set in early with my realization that I was the first talk of the first day of the first week of the extravaganza. All these firsts meant I wasn’t getting my “big break” with tons of new prospects and an audience-love award. The event was the first in-person one in a while with no hybrid online platform, so I was limited to the few folks who came early on a weekday. The workshop I was assigned already had a description, contraining my curriculum. English wasn’t everyone’s first language, and all my talks and workshops are in my fluent language of English, dulling my in-person impact.
Here was the choice-point. Would I rise above the blame, resentment, and panic to create an opportunity for myself?
100% Visibility Is a Mindset
You bet! AND I see this same reality hit happen to EVERY CLIENT I’ve ever had who went for a PR stunt beyond their comfort zone. It’s rarely, if ever, the break-out moment for anyone. The PR machine isn’t a one-and-done effort that sets you up for ongoing speaking engagements.
This, and anything that looks like a shiny break-out moment is but one cog placed lovingly in my PR machine. What I actually took from it was increased credibility because I have this beautiful video to share who I am and what I teach. I got to earn while learning about the true impact of my productivity teachings to a group, and I solidified my post-quarantine back-in-action rhythm.

This experience that in-person events aren’t what they used to be and my social media platforms don’t work the way they used to brought me to my beloved community.

What about it? Going through the past 2 years has deeply changed our perceptions and our behavior, and I’m ready to change with it. I’m up-leveling to meet my clients’ needs for an interactive focused space of transformation.
